A graduate of the Ohio State University veterinary school, David Tollon has been involved in private practice and veterinary technology for the past 26 years. He is the owner of Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital in Seminole, Fl. He has also had the opportunity to be an instructor and past Director of the veterinary technician program at St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Fl. As a result of these experiences, he has learned the extreme importance of the veterinary healthcare team in veterinary medicine. David is also a member of the Council of 100 of the American Animal Hospital Association, a member of the Advisory Committee to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida and a past Board member of the Veterinary Hospital Manager's Association. He is also past president of the Pinellas Animal Foundation and is a Paul Harris fellow in Rotary International. He is married and has two children. His hobbies include running, boating and traveling.
